I see that the creator is going for an emotional artsy type game. The style of the game was fine. I enjoyed piecing together memories to reach the end and the pixel art is great. However, I was perplexed that no one seemed to try and get dad help. Not only that, but dad really isn't a very good character. I felt like the emotion of the story could have been so much more poignant, but then he kills himself and leaves his three kids and wife behind? I really don't like dad very much.
Lots of fun. Addicting gameplay. My only issue was that the control of the ship was too sloppy. You lost control when the mouse got close to the edge of the window and the ship was a second delayed when you had to make tight maneuvers. Fun however.
Hi, thank you for the feedback! Not sure if I can do anything with the mouse when it leaves the active window though:(.
Fun Idea overall
However, the guy moves too slow to be able to consistently dodge all the machetes imo.
What a fun way to kill some time!
A great, fast play type of game that you could spend an afternoon trying to play, but if you just want a brisk 10 minutes of shoot 'em up, this game satisfies that as well.
Also, kudos for the music from both Shaun of the Dead (no I don't know the artist who did that tune.) And the Danny Elfman from Pee-wee's Big Adventure.
WOW!
Easily the best flash RPG I have ever played. The battles are nicely paced. There isn't a lot of times spent wandering around, trying to meet with random encounters. The loot is well placed and the graphics and music are passable.
No end in sight?
I played until lvl 41. Then I could stand no more. I will say this though...what Zombie enthusiast hasn't wanted to be able to throw ridiculous amounts of ammunition at mindless zombies as they rush towards you? This is just the type of game I want to play when I have about 15-20 minutes to kill and don't want to get too involved in plot, dialogue, or some overdone video sequence. I enjoyed this a lot, but I still believe that it should have some kind of conceivable end in sight. In closing, I ask the question
How did all those zombies get up 40 flights of stairs?
I'm pretty impressed
A game with actual application. I may actually bring this to my math tutees and have them play it. It promotes a good strategy for combining numbers and making sums.
Not the best point 'n click ever
But considering it's just a game to promote the album, it could have been a hell of a lot worse.
Fun game
Amazing album (as expected)
I'm really bored...all the time.
